Mauricio Vivero has over 20 years of experience working with donors and institutions to create social impact around the globe. Mauricio serves as the Director of Partnerships for a private foundation based in NYC and is a founding board member of Give2Cuba. He has worked as consultant and advisor to many domestic and international NGOs, providing strategic guidance and support on board governance, donor communication, and fundraising. Mauricio was CEO of Friends of Caritas Cuba from 2018 to 2022. He was also the founding CEO of the Seattle International Foundation (part of The Seattle Foundation), serving from 2008 to 2017. His professional experience also includes many years of work in the field of government relations, serving as Vice President of the Legal Services Corporation; Director of Government Relations for Independent Sector; and Director of Grassroots Lobbying for the American Bar Association. Born in Cuba and raised in NYC, Mauricio hold a B.A. from Florida International University and a J.D. from Creighton University.
